Rising to the Challenge: Establishing the Gaushala

In 1997, inspired by a vision to help cows, Late Ramprasadji Malpani, Rajendraji Saraf, and Raju Saraf joined forces to establish the Gaushala Kukane.

Recognizing the need for a haven for cows, the founders secured a plot of land for the gaushala. While a generous portion was rocky and uncultivable, their dedication was unwavering.

  • Land Acquisition: Securing a land grant, even if partially barren, demonstrated the commitment to the gaushala’s cause.
  • Overcoming Challenges: The founders acknowledged the difficulties presented by the rocky and infertile land, but didn’t let it deter their vision.
  • Initial Development: Despite the challenges, the construction of the first sheds marked a significant milestone in establishing the gaushala.
